To promote healthy aging, healthy families
and a healthy community

 

Founded in 1969, we are a private not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.  The Board is responsible for:

   
·        Determining the mission of the organization.
·        Ensuring the organization has the financial resources 
needed to      
     effectively carry out the mission.
·        Providing oversight of the financial operation of the
     organization to make sure it operates in fiscally 
     responsible manner.
·        Making and reviewing policies needed to operate the 
     organization.
·        Monitoring the effectiveness of services
·        Hiring and evaluating the Executive Director.
