The goal of Information, Assistance and Access is to provide older adults, adults with physical disabilities and their families with easy access to information and services. Staff of several agencies are located at the Kenosha County Aging & Disability Resource Center in order to provide a single place to obtain information and be linked to services. Information, Assistance & Access is one of three Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services programs housed at the Aging & Disability Resource Center.
Information is available on a wide array or topics and services of interest to older and disabled adults. Information may range from Family Care, transportation, housing, dementia care to volunteer opportunities. You may call or drop in to see our professional staff Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
A newsletter CareLink is published bi-monthly with tips and ideas for caregivers. The latest edition is available at:

Long Term Care Options Consultations are provided free of charge to individuals and families in their own homes. A home visit can be arranged with our professional staff to assess needs and help find resources that help a person live as independently as possible. We want everyone to have information and an understanding of their options when making decisions about their current and future care. During a visit our staff can determine functional eligibility and screen for financial eligibility if public funding is needed to pay for services.
The Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet accepts donations of used equipment, such as wheelchairs, walker and bath benches. The items are then available for others to borrow when there is no insurance coverage for an item.
