Information, Assistance and Access


The Information and Assistance (IAA) Specialists can help with a variety of concerns. Services can be provided in the ADRC office, over the phone, by email, or in a person’s home (regardless of income). IAA Specialists provide:

  • Access to publicly funded programs
  • Information on a wide range of topics
  • Medical Equipment Loan Closet
  • Options Counseling
  • Youth Transition


Who we serve:

  • Adults (18 or older) with a physical or developmental disability
  • Family members and caregivers seeking long-term care services
  • Older adults
  • Youth transitioning (prior to age 18) to adult services


Information
Information, Assistance and Access (IAA) Specialists provides unbiased information on a wide range of topics and services. Examples include:

 

  • Caregiving resources
  • FoodShare (Foodstamps)
  • Home health care    
  • Housing

Medicaid

  • Senior dining programs
  • Social Security Disability
  • Transportation
