KAFASI Volunteer named KUSD’s Friend in Education

OEdna Williamsn  May 5th 2023 AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program volunteer Edna Williams was awarded the Kenosha Unified School Districts Friend in Education award for 2023 and was nominated by the Bose Elementary School staff for this honor.

The Friend in Education award is given to those who support the teaching and learning in the district and whose dedication and service to the students and families stand out among the rest. Edna has been a volunteer for 13 years at Bose Elementary and has helped countless students over the 20+ hours a week she spends there and her dedication to making sure that all students are successful is without question.
