Description

When you need information it helps to know where to get it! At the Kenosha County Aging and Disability Resource Center, our helpful and friendly Information and Assistance (IAA) Specialists can help you navigate the array of services and address a variety of concerns.

IAA Specialists can provide you with information on how to access publicly funded programs, help you access the Medical Equipment Loan Closet, and engage you in Options Counseling. They also help with youth who are transitioning from children’s’ to adult services.

Our IAA Specialists will provide unbiased information on a wide range of topics and services such as resources for caregivers, FoodShare, Home Health Care, Housing Issues, accessing Medicaid and Medicaid related services, Senior Nutrition Programs, Social Security Disability and transportation needs.

The Information, Assistance and Access Specialists are located at the Kenosha County Aging and Disability Resource Center (in the Kenosha County Job Center)

Eligibility Requirements

IAA Specialists assist any adult (age 18 or older) with a physical or developmental disability, Family members or caregivers seeking long-term care services, Older adults and Youth (prior to age 18) transitioning to adult services.

COST

There is no cost for Information, Assistance and Access services.
