Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services Inc. (KAFASI) is proud to announce the launch of its annual Memory Matters Newsletter. The Memory Matters Newsletter is here to educate, inform, and inspire. Each edition is packed with valuable updates on upcoming events, the latest breakthroughs in dementia research, and practical tips for brain health and prevention.

Alex Troupis is the Dementia care specialist for KAFASI, and takes a meet people where they are approach, helping individuals and families navigate dementia with informed, person-centered guidance. He connects people to Kenosha County resources at any cognitive stage while focusing on symptoms, safety, and prevention, and also brings a strong background in mental health and crisis work, supported by a Master’s degree in Social Work.
