On Saturday, April 29th, 2023 KAFASI held its 1st Volunteer recognition event since 2019 when COVID changed the way we interacted with our communities. We welcomed in over 150 of our current volunteers and recognized all both past and present.

To our volunteers: You never really know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them. You never know how much your kindness turned someone’s entire life around. You never know how much someone needed that long hug or deep talk. Thank You for not waiting to be so kind. Thank You for just being kind, because you realize someone else may need it and it could change their life.
